Darmian thanked his former club and the fans, saying the group at Parma will always be in his heart.

“Thanks Parma and thanks to the fans,” Darmian wrote on Twitter. “Now, a new adventure awaits me.

“I leave a fantastic group that I will never forget, a group that I will face on the pitch as an opponent but that I will always carry in my heart.”

Darmian’s impressive stint at Torino earned him a big move to Manchester United in July 2015, but after four seasons and 92 competitive games for the Red Devils, he returned to Italy and Parma in 2019.
