Italy Under-21’s European Championship qualifier against Iceland has been postponed.

The match scheduled for 16.30 UK time today has been postponed after two players and a member of the Azzurrini staff tested positive for COVID-19.

The Icelandic Football Federation confirmed the decision through at statement on their official website.

“The U21 match is postponed due to contagion of COVID in the Italian group,” the statement read.

“The positivity was found following the latest tests.”
