The patron has been fighting to build a new stadium to generate resources and said the American owners at clubs like Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool already have the ‘guaranteed revenue’ he looks for at the Viola.
“I don’t feel second to none,” Commisso told Off The Pitch. “The American owners who run Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool don’t necessarily have more financial resources than me.
“But they have a new and modern stadium that helps them generate more revenue than Fiorentina. I didn’t come here to make money, but I’d be sad if I keep losing a lot of it every year."
