Fiorentina have reportedly entered contract talks with Nikola Milenkovic and are waiting for the player's response to their latest offer.
The Viola centre-back was linked with Inter and Milan in the transfer market that closed on October 5, but President Rocco Commisso kept asking for €40m for the defender and eventually kept hold of the important defender.
Milenkovic has been an important member of the Fiorentina squad since he arrived from FK Partizan in July 2017, but his current deal expires in June 2022.
Il Corriere dello Sport reveals the Viola have prepared an offer to extend his deal at the Artemio Franchi and that sporting director Daniele Prade has been in talks with agent Fali Ramadani for some time.
Fiorentina are asking Milenkovic for an answer to their latest offer but are not going to budge on the asking price of €40m in the upcoming transfer market even if the player doesn’t sign a new deal.
