It kicks off on Wednesday at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT).

The Azzurri won 1-0 when these sides met last month in Amsterdam, with a goal from Inter midfielder Nicolò Barella.

Coach Roberto Mancini already confirmed in his press conference that Lazio hitman Immobile will lead the 4-3-3 formation tomorrow, after Andrea Belotti started in the 0-0 draw with Poland on Sunday.

That was always the plan, regardless of the fact Torino striker Belotti is suspended.

Federico Chiesa and Lorenzo Pellegrini should keep their spots in the trident, but there is competition from Stephan El Shaarawy now that he has been given the all-clear after a false positive COVID-19 test.

Chiellini returns from injury to marshal the defence, but D’Ambrosio and Spinazzola are likely to step in for Alessandro Florenzi and Emerson Palmieri.

The Netherlands are second in their Nations League group, one point behind Italy, and are fresh from their own 0-0 draw with Bosnia-Herzegovina.

There are familiar faces in the side, such as Hans Hateboer of Atalanta and Inter centre-back Stefan de Vrij.

Compared to the XI that lost 1-0 to Italy in September, De Vrij is in for Joel Veltman, Daley Blind has recovered from a heart scare to start in place of Nathan Ake and Berghuis can take the place of Marten de Roon.

The Dutch have scored only one goal in three Nations League games and, including a friendly defeat to Mexico last week, have fired blanks in their last three matches.

English referee Anthony Taylor will officiate the match, but while five substitutions are allowed, there is no VAR in the Nations League group phase.

Probable line-ups

Italy (4-3-3): G Donnarumma; D'Ambrosio, Bonucci, Chiellini, Spinazzola; Barella, Jorginho, Verratti; Chiesa, Immobile, Pellegrini

Netherlands (4-3-3): Cillessen; Hateboer, de Vrij, Van Dijk, Blind; Van de Beek, de Jong, Wijnaldum; Berghuis, Depay, Promes
