Napoli are about to submit a formal appeal against the decision of the FIGC judge to give the Azzurri a 3-0 defeat by default against Juventus and one-point deduction. The appeal trial could take place by the end of the month.
As La Gazzetta dello Sport reports, the formal 'declaration of complaint' will be sumbitted today and will lead to the trial at the Sports Court of Appeal with the judge that in the coming days will send Napoli the documents that explain his first instance decision.
At that point, the club’s lawyers leaded by Mattia Grassani, will have five days to study the documents, including those of the federal prosecutor.
From that moment on, the appeal trial can be scheduled and may take place between the end of October and the beginning of November.
