Genoa: Pjaca and Pellegrini recover from COVID

Genoa have announced Marko Pjaca and Luca Pellegrini have recovered from coronavirus to have 10 of 17 back in training.

The Grifoni have gone through two difficult weeks but are finally announcing negative tests and the return of their first-team players.

Pjaca and Pellegrini have already carried out the required fitness tests and are back at Maran’s disposal in view of Monday’s match against Verona.

Pjaca and Pellegrini have joined the list of recovered players including Mattia Perin, Federico Marchetti, Ivan Radovanovic, Davide Biraschi, Valon Behrami, Lasse Schone, Miha Zajc and Filippo Melegoni.

The many cases were confirmed after the 6-0 defeat to Napoli in Serie A, and caused the match against Torino at the Marassi to be postponed until November 4.
