Parma had four players test positive for Coronavirus this week and added a fifth this morning in the latest round of swabs.

Nonetheless, the ASL local health authority has given the all-clear for the game to go ahead as planned.

This number of cases is covered by the Serie A protocol and there is no need to postpone, especially as the two cities are relatively close, so travel can be done by bus.

In Serie B, Monza-Vicenza was postponed because of the growing outbreak in the host team, but this is because the rules are different in the second division.

Top flight clubs have the resources to handle an extensive ‘bubble’ to contain any outbreak.
