The Partenopei have nothing left to play for this season, as they crashed out of the Europa League quarter-finals last Thursday with a sluggish 1-0 home defeat to Arsenal, 3-0 on aggregate.

Insigne was jeered off during that game by some of the home fans and vented his frustration, so a tense atmosphere was expected, but he is instead left on the bench in favour of Dries Mertens and Arkadiusz Milik.

It’ll also be relatively quiet, as Easter Monday is traditionally in Italy a day for picnics with the family, so very few are making the effort to attend this match.

Juventus have already won the Scudetto, while Raul Albiol and Nikola Maksimovic are injured, so Kevin Malcuit and Vlad Chiriches are in the starting XI.

It means a great deal to Atalanta, as they are within three points of Milan in fourth place, even though a win would technically have them fifth due to an inferior head-to-head record.

They are also preparing for the Coppa Italia semi-final on Thursday, having drawn the first leg 3-3 with Fiorentina back in February.

Josip Ilicic is not risked from the start due to a recurring knee problem, so Mario Pasalic starts with Papu Gomez and former Napoli striker Duvan Zapata, the Colombian currently a Capocannoniere candidate with 20 Serie A goals.

Rafael Toloi is the only absentee with an ankle problem that has prematurely ended his season.

These two teams have had the most shots on goal this season in Serie A, as Napoli attempted 582 and Atalanta 554. They are also the only two sides to have two players already on double goal figures, with Arkadiusz Milik (17) and Dries Mertens (11) on one hand, Duvan Zapata (20) and Josip Ilicic (11) on the other.

Atalanta have lost their last three Serie A meetings with Napoli, home and away, but have never managed four consecutive defeats to the Partenopei.
