“We’re up against a very strong Fiorentina side full of talent and champions, so it’s a tough test, especially with Franck Ribery, Giacomo Bonaventura, Gaetano Castrovilli and the others,” said the coach in his press conference.
“Beppe Iachini has a very organised style of football, but we face them without fear and with our heads held high. We have our idea of football and that is to play well, don’t fear the opposition, take the game to them and cause anyone problems.”
Italiano knows Iachini well, having played under the coach at Chievo in 2007-09.
“I have huge admiration for the Mister, as we had a wonderful time together, earning promotion from Serie B. He gave me so much and I’ll gladly hug him tomorrow.”
