Chiellini was replaced by Demiral in the first half of Juventus’ Champions League clash away to Dynamo Kiev on Tuesday with the 36-year-old who will undergo medical tests today.

According to Sky Sport, he could have picked up a lesion that would force him out of action for several games. If Chiellini’s muscular lesion will be confirmed, he would return to action after the International break of November.

Meanwhile, Juventus only have two fit centre-backs to face the next few games, including a Champions League clash against Barcelona on October 28.

Matthijs de Ligt, in fact, is coming back form a shoulder surgery and although he is close to returning to action it may still take a couple of weeks to see him back onto the pitch.
