Probable line-ups: Celtic-Milan

Brahim Diaz should get the go ahead in Hakan Calhanoglu’s absence when Milan face Celtic in the Europa League.

The match kicks off at 20.00 UK time.

The Rossoneri starts with an away trip to Celtic in the group stage of the Europa League 2020-21 and must cope without Turkey international Calhanoglu.

The 26-year-old, who has suffered a sprained ankle, was decisive in the qualifiers and will be replaced by Real Madrid loanee Brahim in Glasgow.

The Rossoneri coach could change five out of 10 players from the Derby della Madonnina, as coach Stefano Pioli gives Rafael Leao and Alexis Saelemaekers a breather.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic seems set to start up front, with Rade Krunic, Brahim and Samu Castillejo in the attacking trident behind the veteran.

Sandro Tonali should start next to Franck Kessie in the middle, with Diogo Dalot at right-back and Theo Hernandez at left.

Simon Kjaer and Alessio Romagnoli are expected to continue in the heart of the defence, ahead of Gigio Donnarumma in goal.

Celtic defender Kristoffer Ajer was linked with a move to the Rossoneri during the summer and will get another chance to impress the Diavolo hierarchy tonight.

Milan loanee Diego Laxalt will meet his old teammates, as he should start in Glasgow tonight.

Celtic (probable): Barkas; Jullien, Duffy, Ajer; Frimpong, Brown, McGregor, Laxalt; Ntcham; Ajeti, Elyounoussi

Milan (probable): G. Donnarumma; Dalot, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Theo Hernandez; Tonali, Kessie; Castillejo, Brahim Diaz, Krunic; Ibrahimovic
