Inter winger Ivan Perisic said he’s 'convinced' the Nerazzurri will ‘make it’ to the knockout stages of the Champions League this season.
The Beneamata were eliminated from the group stage last term and opened 2020-21 with a 2-2 draw with Borussia Mönchengladbach on Wednesday.
Perisic, who won the competition whilst on loan at Bayern Munich last season, stressed they have a ‘long road’ ahead.
“We had many opportunities,” he told SportMediaset. “But we could only get one point.
“The road is long, and I’m convinced we will be able to make it to the last 16.”
The Croatia international has played all five games so far this term and has contributed two assists in Serie A.
