Milan Badelj reveals he probably caught Covid-19 at Fiorentina and says: ‘I hope nobody else will experience what happened to Genoa.'

The Grifone had a massive outbreak at the end of September with 22 confirmed cases of Covid among players and staff members.

"I was pretty calm,” Badelj told Il Secolo XIX.

“I probably had Covid in March when I was in Florence. I didn’t do the swab back then, but the antibody blood test I did afterwards showed that I have antibodies.

"I was pretty calm,” Badelj told Il Secolo XIX.

“I felt serene, although I took all the precautions out of respect for my teammates and because you never know".

"Back in n March and April there were many players infected [at Fiorentina]. Then, of course, we didn’t see each other, and we went back to the pitch a long time later.

“The feelings are the same now. We found ourselves here without being able to train, with many lads at home.

“Luckily, almost all of them are asymptomatic.

“I hope no other team will experience what happened to us".
