The Viola patron believes Iachini has done well but admitted he didn’t enjoy the matches against Sampdoria and Spezia.

But Iachini’s men bounced back with a 3-2 win over Udinese on Sunday and Commisso har issued further support for the pressured coach.

“I will send him away when the teams below us send their coaches away first,” Commisso told Radio Rai.

“We are doing well, I didn’t like the matches against Sampdoria and Spezia and therefore we can do better.

“I have never recommended any players, on TV I saw [Sofyan] Amrabat and I suggested picking him up.

“Out of 75 operations, I only talked about this story. However, it’s my duty to know what happens on the agenda.

“I respect the work of [sporting director Daniele] Prade and [CEO Joe] Barone.”
