Inter forward Romelu Lukaku chases his 10th consecutive game with a goal in Europe, pursuing Juventus talisman Cristiano Ronaldo’s record.

The Belgian forward is expected to start against the Ukrainian side tonight and could go one closer to match Ronaldo’s record of scoring in 11 consecutive games.

Lukaku has currently scored in his all of his nine last games across the Europa League and the Champions League.

Lukaku has currently scored in his all of his nine last games across the Europa League and the Champions League.

If he scores against Shakhtar tonight, he could match Ronaldo’s record against the Portuguese stars former team Real Madrid in the next round of fixtures.

Ronaldo, however, scored in 11 consecutive Champions League matches to set the current record.

Lukaku, who arrived for €74m from Manchester United in August 2019, has scored five in five in Serie A and seven in total, including the brace against Borussia Mönchengladbach in Europe so far this term.
