Sassuolo have announced Lukas Haraslin tested positive for coronavirus during the latest round of swab tests.
A new case of COVID-19 in Serie A has been officially announced by the Neroverdi, who confirmed Haraslin has been placed in home quarantine and will most likely miss the match against Napoli.
“US Sassuolo Calcio announce that the tests carried out revealed Lukas Haraslin is positive for COVID-19,” the club wrote in a statement.
“The club promptly placed the player in home isolation, activating all the procedures provided for by the protocol in force for the team group.
“The club is in constant contact with the relevant health authority and with the League to which it belongs.”
