Michael Emenalo has, according to Il Corriere dello Sport, reached an agreement with Roma while Gianluca Petrachi has sued the Giallorossi.
The former Chelsea and Monaco has been suggested as one of the candidates to become for the new sporting director at La Lupa, who sacked Gianluca Petrachi in the summer.
Il Corriere dello Sport claims Petrachi has sued Roma asking a €5m compensation as he believes he was dismissed without just cause.
The report reveals Emenalo has agreed to join the Giallorossi but the club have not made a final decision.
The newspaper claims the Nigerian director has met Roma's owners in London and has reportedly received guarantees on the autonomy he would have covering the role with Dan Friedkin, who was conquered by his gentle attitude.
The likes of Jonas Boldt and Ralf Rangnick have also been linked with the Giallorossi while Emenalo is only waiting for a call from Roma to move to the Capital.
