The Bianconeri have drawn their last three Serie A games against less than stellar opposition and, aside from the three disallowed Alvaro Morata goals, failed to make a dent in the Blaugrana.

“We were organised, but not aggressive, and that makes it difficult to play against a team like Barcelona,” Danilo told Sky Sport Italia.

“So far, we’ve had some good moments, but we haven’t played well for an entire match yet this season. We have to improve, take a step forward and be stronger mentally, be more determined in certain situations. That is very important against the stronger teams.”

Because Andrea Pirlo came in with practically no pre-season, should Juve still be experimenting?

“We do need experiments, but we also need to add results to those. We must focus on winning the next game.”
