Milan CEO Ivan Gazidis said he wants to make the fans proud and bring the Rossoneri back ‘at the top of world football’.
The Rossoneri CEO has been working to change things at Casa Milan and Stefano Pioli’s men are starting to show their potential in recent months.
After an unbeaten run of 22 games, Milan sit top of Serie A and started with 3-1 a win in the Europa League group stage against Celtic.
Gazidis seemed pleased with the results so far, but stressed ‘the vision’ of the Diavolo is to get back to the top.
“The pride I’m talking about are a Milan that makes the fans proud of a club at the top of the world of football,” Gazidis said at SportLab.
“A team that incorporates the values of the club, players grown up at the club who know the fans appreciate the growth they have invested in.
“Players who know they belong to this family and who play in one of the best stadiums in the world here in Milan.
“We want to engage with the fans, communicate with the globally, but also on a more personal level. That’s Milan’s vision for the future, with a weight and a place in the world of football.
“That’s what we are working on and what makes the fans proud. I believe this vision will make Milan fans all over the world proud.”
