Crotone have announced midfielder Salvatore Molina has tested positive for coronavirus.

The press conferences for both teams were cancelled ahead of the match between Crotone and Atalanta on Saturday, as both teams had cases of COVID-19 in their respective team groups.

“Crotone Football Club announce that, following the molecular tests carried out yesterday, it was detected a new positive case of COVID-19 within the team group,” the club wrote in a statement.

“The member, footballer Salvatore Molina, is slightly symptomatic and was immediately subjected to home isolation.

“All the procedures provided by the protocol in force were activated.”
