Parma have announced two players have become ‘reinfected’ after testing positive for coronavirus for the second time ahead of the match against Inter.

The Crociati, who have been isolated in recent weeks due to infections of COVID-19, have announced more cases tonight.

“Parma Calcio 1913 announce that the last cycle of swabs gave a negative result for all members of the team group except for two players who tested positive,” the club wrote in a statement.

“Parma Calcio 1913 announce that the last cycle of swabs gave a negative result for all members of the team group except for two players who tested positive,” the club wrote in a statement.

“They will be unavailable for tomorrow’s match: these are two athletes who had been positive and have now become reinfected.

“The two are asymptomatic and the athletes will remain in isolation and will be subjected to new checks in the next 48 hours.”
