“I have trouble rotating, but the team have regrouped through a great reaction,” Inzaghi told Sky Sport Italia. “Post-lockdown, we have struggled a lot and we still have difficulties.
“It’s useless to hide. The lads are united with us in the staff and we are trying to put down important performances, knowing a very important game awaits us, then on Sunday we face Juventus before 15 days off to hopefully recover many men.”
Inzaghi’s Lazio face a Zenit St Petersburg who are yet to pick up any points in the Champions League.
The Aquile coach looks forward to playing in front of 20,000 spectators in Russia tomorrow.
“We know what kind of match we face, we meet the top-seeded team of the group, who have zero points after two games,” Inzaghi said.
“There will be 20,000 people in the stands, but we must play our game with the awareness that the two games against Zenit could be extremely important to qualify.
“I the League there are no spectators, in Belgium the stadiums were closed for the fans, but tomorrow we will find 20,000 people and I think it can be a great help and a great satisfaction for my lads too.”
