Despite that, Alves said the season he spent in Turin was the worst one of his career.

"All the players who leave Barcelona regret it, one hundred percent. But either you accept it or you become bitter all your life,” he told RAC1.

“The year I spent at Juventus was the worst of my career because. I wanted that to be like in Barcelona and it wasn’t. I had to reinvent myself and pull resilience.”

Dani Alves left the club after only one season to join PSG.

“I would have stayed [at Barcelona] my whole life, but it was disrespectful to me that they wanted to throw me out the back door. If they had treated me as they should have, I would still be at Barcelona.

“I rejected a lot of money from Real Madrid – like it or not, a great club – to go to Camp Nou, and I didn’t want to fired. I wanted to be able to leave when I wanted to, but I knew they were pushing me out of the club.”
