Former Inter and PSG star Thiago Motta says he is ‘flattered’ by rumours linking him with the PSG job.
Thomas Tuchel’s contract expires in 2021 and according to reports in France, Leonardo is not willing to extend his stay at the club.
Former Italy International Thiago Motta is one of the managers linked with the job.
“It is very flattering and positive that people talk about me. It make me proud and I feel happy,” the former Genoa boss told RMC Sport.
“I am happy to have the recognition of the supporters of a club where I have spent the majority of my career.
“I hope one day I can repay the confidence they gave me," the added.
“I like attacking football but in order to produce attacking football, you have to be dynamic, occupy the spaces well and attack, you have to take risks.
“To bring dynamism to football, you have to recover the ball back quickly. It's when you have the ball that you can choose what to do.
“I think that a team like Paris Saint-Germain, it's compatible with that.”
