The newly promoted Serie A side face La Viola when Serie A will be resumed after the international break.

Benvento have six points from the opening seven games of the season while Fiorentina have eight and have just replaced Beppe Iachini with Cesare Prandelli.

"Fiorentina have important players, they are a team that can aim at Europe and with the new coach you never know what can happen,” the former Torino winger told Il Corriere dello Sport.

“But let’s not forget that they are also going through hard times and if we play a good game we can achieve a good result.

“I never scored at the Franchi but once I netted a nice goal against Fiorentina.”

The Spaniard should return to action against La Viola.

"I feel better, I want to be ready when Serie A resumes.

“I thought I was ready already last week for the game against Spezia, but I had some little problems on the eve of the game and we decided not to risk.”
