Torino’s defender Gleison Bremer is reportedly open to moving to Everton to play under Carlo Ancelotti although the Granata are planning to offer him a new contract.
The 23-year-old joined the Granata for €6.5 from Atletico Mineiro in summer 2018.
He has 48 caps and six goals to his name with the Serie A side and his €500,000-a-year contract expires in June 2023.
According to Tuttosport, both Everton and Fulham will try to sign Bremer in the January transfer window even if Torino consider the Brazilian unsellable and are planning to offer him a new contract.
The paper reports Ancelotti is a big admirer of the 23-year-old who is “flattered” by the interest of the Italian coach although Bremer’s former Torino team-mate Ola Aina could persuade him to move to the Craven Cottage.
“I am sure my chance will come,” Bremer told Esporte Interativo talking about his future and the possibility of playing for his national team one day.
“I want to represent my country, it’s a dream I’ve had since I was a child.”
