Genoa striker Goran Pandev has made history by scoring the goal that allows North Macedonia to beat Georgia in the play-offs and qualify for Euro 2020.
The 37-year-old was on target 56 minutes into the one-off clash at the Dinamo Arena in Tbilisi.
Georgia had the better of the first half, but Macedonia took control after the break and made it count with Pandev, who finished with the outside of the boot.
It was very much a goal made in Serie A, as Napoli midfielder Eljif Elmas and Udinese striker Ilija Nestorovski combined in the build-up to send Pandev through.
The veteran burst into tears at the final whistle, burying his head in the turf, before he was held aloft by his teammates.
North Macedonia qualify for their first ever major tournament, where they will go into Group C with the Netherlands, Ukraine and Austria.
The other play-offs tonight are Hungary-Iceland, Northern Ireland-Slovakia and Serbia-Scotland.
