Juventus are planning to offer Federico Bernardeschi to Napoli in exchange for Arkadiusz Milik in January, claim reports.

Milik needs to move on, as he will be a free agent at the end of the season and has been frozen out for refusing to sign a new contract or accept a summer transfer.

If he doesn’t play, then he runs the very real risk of missing out on a call-up for Poland at the Euros.

According to Calciomercato.com, Juve hope to convince Napoli into a swap deal for Bernardeschi, who is struggling to make an impact in Turin.

Bernardeschi would be more suited to Gennaro Gattuso’s 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 formation than Andrea Pirlo’s current set-up.

Milik is also still a potential target for Roma, who had been on the verge of signing him so that Edin Dzeko could go to Juventus.

While Milik has always had his sights set on Juve, it’s Bernardeschi who could resist a move to Napoli, where he’d be up against Hirving Lozano and Matteo Politano in competition for places.
