Fiorentina are considering their options with striker Pedro Guilherme, who is rediscovering his form on loan at Flamengo.
The 23-year-old was signed from Fluminense for €11m plus bonuses in September 2019 and made practically no impact at all in Florence.
He was sent back to Brazil on loan in January and immediately found his scoring touch again with 17 goals in 30 competitive games for Flamengo.
There are now strong reports that Flamengo want to make the move permanent, but the Viola are unsure whether to cash in after such a brief attempt to make it work, or bring him back to Italy and see if he can make his mark this time.
Flamengo are short on funds too, so La Gazzetta dello Sport claim they would want to spread out the payments over several years.
He was never really given a chance, as Pedro made four appearances for Fiorentina, for a grand total of 59 minutes on the pitch.
