Report: Sensi returns to training

Inter are sweating over Roberto Gagliardini’s test results but Stefano Sensi could be back in normal training this week.

Tuttosport reveals Antonio Conte could have Sensi back in training this week and the medical staff are monitoring his recovery from a muscle injury.

He should increase the workload this week but will be careful and most likely sit out again when Torino arrive this weekend.

The players returning from international duty will not be available to train until Friday and Aleksander Kolarov, who didn’t appear for Serbia, is still uncertain.

Gagliardini was sent home from the Italy squad as his COVID-19 test was declared ‘doubtful’ and the midfielder must test negative before he can return to the group.

Inter sit seventh in Serie A with 12 points from seven games and are on a winless run of four games ahead of the match against the Granata on Sunday.
