Milan coach Stefano Pioli’s assistant Giacomo Murelli has tested positive for COVID-19 and will not be in charge against Napoli.
Pioli tested positive on Saturday and the result was confirmed yesterday by the molecular tests, but today the Rossoneri have confirmed his assistant Murelli is also positive for coronavirus.
“AC Milan announce that Giacomo Murelli, in isolation since Saturday’s confirmation of Stefano Pioli’s positive test, was slightly positive on the first test carried out on Sunday,” the club wrote.
“The positivity was confirmed yesterday by a second molecular swab test. Murelli is fine and the home quarantine will continue.”
