Lazio forward Ciro Immobile has tested negative and will undergo the required medical examination today, hoping to be back against Crotone on Saturday.

The Aquile forward has finished his quarantine period and La Gazzetta dello Sport writes he is expected at the Paideia clinic in Rome this morning.

He will undergo the required medical test, a procedure necessary to return to play after having tested positive for coronavirus.

Lucas Leiva has returned to training too and Immobile was subjected to a second swab yesterday, this time with a structure accredited to the local health authorities.

His results came back negative and Immobile, who has continued to train at home, could be back in the squad for Saturday’s match against Crotone.
