Despite Spain’s 6-0 win against Germany, Juventus striker Alvaro Morata says: ‘There will always be criticism’ and adds he shouldn't have had a goal disallowed for off-side.
"We have to do our job. We said it the other day,” Morata said after the game, reports As.
“We played well against the World champions and I’d like to see what people will say now. We try to help each-other, we have young players who we trust.
"There will always be cticism, I can’t wait to go back home and see what they say about us,” he continued.
"This is the team, we do what we have to. It’s a strong message for the whole world, we want to continue on this path.
"It was our best game under Luis Enrique, you have to pick it up to see how well we’ve done. We’d like it to always be like this."
Morata scored the opener and had another one disallowed for off-side which, with VAR, would probably be allowed.
"I know I wasn’t offside, but I don’t want to protest. I’m happy,” Morata concluded.
