In their Nations League trip to Bosnia, Italy have no Juventus players in the starting XI for only the fourth time in the last 10 years.
The Azzurri had just one Bianconeri star in the line-up against Poland on Sunday, but Federico Bernardeschi now goes to the bench, replaced by Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi.
That means Italy have no Juve players in the starting XI for only the fourth time in the last decade.
However, the tide is turning, because two of those four were in the last six matches.
The other incidences were against Moldova on October 7, 2020, a meeting with Portugal on September 9, 2018, and facing England on August 15, 2012.
