Lazio forward Ciro Immobile aims to be back against Crotone, as he arrives at the Paideia clinic in Rome to undergo the medical tests.
Calciomercato.com reveals the Italy international, who missed this month’s three national games due to coronavirus, has tested negative for COVID-19 and could return to the pitch.
But first, he must carry out a medical examination and fitness test, required by the current protocol in Serie A.
Immobile has been isolated for 10 days and the Lazio striker seems happy to be back in contention when the reporters asked if the Aquile goalscorer thought he would be back in time for the match against the Rossoblu this weekend.
“Of course, that’s why I’m here.”
Immobile has played five Serie A games this term, contributing three goals in the process.
