Inter are reportedly in talks with Italy international Alessandro Bastoni over a new five-year contract and hope to sign at the start of 2021.
The 21-year-old has claimed a place in Antonio Conte’s squad after returning in June 2019 after a spell on loan at Parma, and the centre-back has impressed in the top flight.
Bastoni, capped three times by Italy so far, is tied to San Siro until June 2023, but the Nerazzurri are, according to Tuttomercatoweb, eager to sign a new deal until 2025 with the former Atalanta youth.
The report reveals Inter and Bastoni’s representatives are discussing and that the young defender could sign at the start of 2021.
Bastoni has played four times in Serie A this term and 40 times across all competitions.
