Inter have reportedly set their sights on Napoli defender Nikola Maksimovic, who could discuss with other clubs in January.
The Partenopei defender’s five-year contract at the San Paolo expires in June 2021 and the 28-year-old has, according to Tuttosport, been targeted by Antonio Conte’s side.
The newspaper claims the Nerazzurri side have a good relationship with Fali Ramadani and reveals the demand is above what Napoli are prepared to match.
Maksimovic has played 76 times for Napoli since he arrived from Torino in June 2017, but he has asked for €2.5m a season and the Azzurri are currently offering a renewal worth €1.2m.
Inter continue to search for a defender and the report suggests they aim to pick up Maksimovic on a free transfer in June.
