The Spanish forward returned to the Allianz Stadium in October and has bagged six goals in eight competitive games for the Bianconeri.

The 28-year-old has earned praise for his performances since his return to Italy and the Colchoneros patron Cerezo stressed he’s still an Atletico Madrid player.

“He deserves this positive moment,” Cerezo told El Larguero. “It seems he has found the right path.

“He’s an Atletico Madrid player on loan to Juventus, who has an option to buy. If they want him, they must pay.”

Morata, who spent two seasons on loan at Juventus from Real Madrid between 2014 and 2016, scored 22 goals in 61 games for Atletico Madrid before he returned to the Old Lady.
