Ciro Ferrara believes Milan won’t continue their run of form until springtime: ‘Their real target is a Champions League placement.’
The Rossoneri are on top of the Serie A table after the opening seven games of the season.
“It is right to enjoy this moment of enthusiasm, the results are deserved but I think it is difficult to remain there until spring,” the former Juventus and Napoli defender told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“I think the goal of Milan is to get a Champions League placement.”
Ferrara, who had coaching experiences in Serie A with Juventus and Sampdoria, believes there are other team that will compete for the title.
"Juventus, Inter and Napoli, without a precise order.
“Obviously the Bianconeri, after nine consecutive titles, remain the team to beat. But [Antonio] Conte and [Gennaro] Gattuso’s teams seem well equipped.”
