Luis Alberto is starting, despite reports he would be dropped as punishment for his social media post criticising Lazio over their new airplane.

“Nobody can doubt the quality of the player, more his behaviour and respect for the club and fans. Anyone who lacks respect must pay the consequences,” Tare told Sky Sport Italia.

“It’s good that he took a step forward towards his teammates and the club. Now we have to make sure this sort of thing doesn’t happen again in future.”

There were real doubts as to whether today’s game would go ahead at the Stadio Ezio Scida, as the Crotone area was hit by thunderstorms and flash flooding this morning.

It is continuing to rain and the winds are causing serious problems.

“We’re not so much playing against Crotone as against the elements. We were prepared to play even with rain, wind, flooding, as we must be stronger than every obstacle and prove ourselves yet again in the toughest situation without alibis.”
