As they do every year, Serie A players join the global campaign combating violence against women by wearing a red mark on their faces.
The smear represents a message and is used on social media with players posing alongside their wives and partners, who wear the red lipstick.
The motto of the campaign, which also has a video starring Alessandro Del Piero and Marco Materazzi, is to ‘give violence the red card.’
