Leaders Milan visit Gennaro Gattuso’s Napoli with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Ante Rebic and Hakan Calhanoglu against Dries Mertens, Lorenzo Insigne and Hirving Lozano.
It kicks off at the Stadio San Paolo at 19.45 GMT.
This is a top of the table showdown, as Milan are the leaders on 17 points and a win would allow Napoli to catch them, but there’s also pressure from Sassuolo, who climbed up to 18 points today.
There are many layers to the clash, from Rino Gattuso facing his former club to the fact both Stefano Pioli and his assistant manager have COVID, so Daniele Bonera is the most senior staff member on the Rossoneri bench.
Both have injury problems, as Napoli are missing Victor Osimhen, Elseid Hysaj and Amir Rrahmani, while the Rossoneri lost Rafael Leao on international duty.
This means Mertens returns to his old centre-forward role, having gone deeper to make way for Osimhen so far this season, with support from Matteo Politano, Chucky Lozano and Insigne.
Tiemoue Bakayoko has recovered from a bout of flu and is ready to face his former club, having spent a year on loan at Milan when Gattuso was at the helm.
He’ll go head-to-head with Franck Kessie in a midfield battle, while Ante Rebic returns for his first start since dislocating his elbow last month.
Ibrahimovic leads the attack with Calhanoglu and Alexis Saelemaekers.
