Milan are waiting anxiously for news after Zlatan Ibrahimovic pulled up clutching the back of his thigh.
The 39-year-old had scored two goals against Napoli at the Stadio San Paolo before he went down holding the back of his left leg.
The likelihood of a muscular or hamstring injury is high, as the Swede pulled up while running and with no other contact involved.
Ibrahimovic has scored nine Serie A goals in just six games this season and is the current Capocannoniere.
It remains to be seen whether he stopped in time to avoid serious damage, but it’s a blow for Milan as they begin a run of nine games going into the Christmas break.
Rafael Leao is also currently out of action after a strain on international duty with Portugal.
