Ribery was replaced in the first half against the Streghe yesterday, but the medical report has excluded a serious injury for the French veteran.

“ACF Fiorentina announce that the diagnostic tests Franck Ribery underwent today excluded injury to the right thigh,” the club wrote in a statement.

“The player has started the therapeutic protocol and will be re-evaluated in the next days.”

The report from the Viola revealed former Milan midfielder Bonaventura, who was not in the squad against Benevento on Sunday, could be back in time for the Coppa Italia match against Udinese this week.

“The clinical examinations for Giacomo Bonaventura ruled out significant problems in the right ankle and in the next hours it will be possible to evaluate his availability for the trip to Udine."
