Former goalkeeper Gianluca Pagliuca believes Cagliari’s Alessio Cragno would be ready to replace Samir Handanovic at Inter.
Reports have suggested Handanovic will be handed a new deal at San Siro and Pagliuca said he wouldn’t replace the Slovenia international just yet.
The former Nerazzurri ‘keeper did however suggest that Cragno would be ready to take the step up from the Rossoblu to Inter.
“Before saying goodbye to Handanovic, I would always consider it, but if we talk about putting it in perspective, Cragno is an excellent player,” Pagliuca told Sportal.it.
“He would be ready to defend Inter’s goal, given he has been playing in Serie A for several years now.”
