Corriere di Bergamo claims Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini 'would only leave' the Orobici if Juventus called for him.
La Dea have sprung up the Serie A table under the former Inter coach and renewed his contract until June 2023.
“I speak every time with the President [Antonio Percassi] to decide the project and understand whether to go forward together,” Gasperini said about the renewal, according to Corriere di Bergamo.
“We have been at a high level for five years, the environment is hardly comparable to other places.”
The report in Corriere di Bergamo claims Atalanta and Gasperini could build a relationship like Sir Alex Ferguson had with Manchester United and only his own will could split them.
The newspaper writes in summary that ‘only Juventus could make him leave Bergamo’.
