No salaries until December at Napoli?

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports Napoli staff, coaches and players are yet to receive a salary this season.

The Partenopei quashed reports of an incident between coach Gennaro Gattuso and some players in the dressing room after the 3-1 defeat to Milan, but the newspaper reveals another possible source for problems in Naples.

Gattuso was angry with his players after the match against his former club Milan, but the report reveals no Napoli member has yet received a salary this season.

La Gazzetta claims the situation would have created some discontent in the dressing room, as the club has decided to pay the first monthly salary by December 1, respecting the deadline set by the FIGC.

Napoli prepare to face HNK Rijeka in the Europa League on Thursday, before a third home game on the bounce against Roma in Serie A on Sunday.

The Azzurri currently sit sixth in the League, with 14 points from eight games.
