Virtus Entella have officially appointed Vincenzo Vivarini as their new head coach, after parting ways with Bruno Tedino.

Tedino lost his job after a 1-1 draw with Ascoli on Sunday and Entella, who prepare for a trip to Torino in the Coppa Italia tomorrow, have swiftly appointed former Bari coach Vivarini.

The 54-year-old terminated his contractual ties to Bari this week, after having lost his position in August, and Entella officially announced his appointment today.

The 54-year-old terminated his contractual ties to Bari this week, after having lost his position in August, and Entella officially announced his appointment today.

“Virtus Entella announce that Vincenzo Vivarini will be the new coach of the first team,” the club wrote in a statement.

“He will bring assistant coach Andrea Milani and athletic coach Antonio Del Fosco with him. A warm welcome to the coach and his staff from President Gozzi and whole Entella family.”

Entella sit 18th in Serie B, after having picked up five points from eight games this season.

Their last win came against Pisa in the Coppa Italia, earning them a trip to the Grande Torino to face Marco Giampaolo’s men this week.

Next up in Serie B for the Biancocelesti, is a home game against SPAL on Monday, November 30.
