Mario Mandzukic’s agent Ivan Cvjetkovic says the former Juventus striker doesn’t want to talk about the Bianconeri and reveals he is ready to sign for a new club: 'He was born to play in the Premier League.'
Mandzukic terminated his Juventus contract one year ago. He joined Al-Duhail as a free agent but left the team after a few months.
He is now training on his own, waiting for the right offer to get back on track.
“I can’t say anything about Juventus, Mario doesn’t want and probably he is right,” his agent Ivan Cvjetkovic told Tuttosport.
“He hasn’t released interviews since he left Juve, he prefers not to talk about what happened.
“He still receives a lot of messages from Juventus fans and he absolutely loves it. He is very attached to Juventus’ fans, people remember he never gave up.
“Sometimes he watches Juventus games but we don’t talk about it."
Will the former Croatia striker return to action anytime soon?
“He is training in a very serious way, like he’s always done. He is working in Zagreb and is 100% fit," Cvjetkovic added.
“He is waiting for the right opportunity, a team that really want him. He believes he can be decisive again.
“He refused some offers because he wasn’t convinced they really wanted to sign him. There have been fakes news, he’s been linked with clubs that never wanted him.
“I don’t know if he will play in Italy again, he is born to play in the Premier League but he never had the right chance. He is 200% ready.”
